What it’s about

Partners Group utilises external service providers to perform Client Due Diligence on its clients. The purpose of this position is to  conduct CDD tasks and carry out oversight of this service provider under the direction of a Senior CDD Officer .

Core duties include: 

  • Reliably and independently executes on assigned CDD activities assigned to him/her
  • Evaluation of CDD files as required and escalating any hotspots
  • Contributes to ensuring the firm complies with the local legal and regulatory AML/CDD obligations
  • Be responsible under the supervision of senior members of the team, for reporting to the internal committees/boards
  • Assists with the oversight of CDD service providers
  • Assists with monitoring and updating AML/CDD policies and procedures in Luxembourg
  • Builds and maintains a good working relationship with the various members of the CDD teams in other Partners Group jurisdictions and collaborates to achieve a common CDD/approach
  • Liaises with the compliance team on specific AML/CDD tasks including
  • Contributes with his/her CDD expertise to team projects and initiatives

 

What we expect

  • A detailed understanding and at least 3 – 5 years’ experience of AML/CDD matters in Luxembourg
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues both internally and externally
  • Self-motivated with a focused and positive attitude
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of closed ended funds and/or private markets would be an advantage
