RSM Financial Services Luxembourg is currently looking for a dynamic person with the following profile:

Fund Accountants – Junior and Manager (m/f)

As a Fund Accountant, you will be in charge of a portfolio of investment funds for our institutional clients active in Private Equity or Real Estate. Your role will involve the ongoing bookkeeping and the calculation of net asset values on a variety of complex PE/RE funds. Working closely with your colleagues and directly with the clients, your responsibilities will include:

Accounting for PE/RE funds and the SPVs for a diverse portfolio of investments
Calculation of the net asset value of funds
Preparation of regular reporting situations and statutory reporting preparation and filing (CSSF, BCL, eCDF)
Assistance during capital call and distribution process
Preparation of payments for investments, management fees, invoices and payments to investors
Organisation, maintenance and filing of documentation (at fund and at SPV level)
Assistance in the preparation of financial statements for audit purposes
Liaising with client representatives and other intervening parties (custodian, auditor, property managers)

Your profile:

Accountancy or business administration qualification
Years of experience in a similar environment is required if you apply for a Manager role
Experience in Lux GAAP accounting for Private Equity/Real Estate funds, Holding Companies, SPVs etc. in Luxembourg
Knowledge of additional accounting standards and principals (IFRS, US GAAP) is an advantage
Excellent command of English and French, with good knowledge of German or Luxembourgish considered an additional asset
Analytical mind with strong sense of providing high quality output
Excellent interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of Word, Excel and accounting softwares
