Tasks

The Project Lead will join the IT PERES sector (Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions) under the direct responsibility of the Head-of IT PERES.

He will work closely with the business teams (Luxembourg, Paris, London, Switzerland, etc.) and the IT teams (Caceis, external service providers) to coordinate and implement the annual or multi-annual projects defined by the sector.

The Project Lead will be responsible for supervising project managers on the three main pillars of the sector, which are:

  • Our development center eFront (software package dedicated to Private Equity, Real Estate and Private Debt)
  • Our Digital division, which includes our Web restitution platforms as well as our Business Intelligence, DataRoom, Big Data tools, etc.
  • Our accounting center which includes different fund accounting tools, companies, consolidation on the different asset classes of the alternative

 

The tasks to be carried out, in a non-exhaustive manner, will be:

– Ensures the implementation of IT rules and standards within the project for which he is responsible

– Analyzes the expression of need and advises the internal client on possible solutions

– Ensures the consistency of the technical solution with the CACEIS information system

– Prioritize actions by identifying potential interdependencies

– Is responsible for the implementation of the IT solution

– Manages relations with internal and external contributors, manages the daily operational relationship with partners and suppliers

– Responsible for the quality of product deliverables

– Manages any changes to objectives (quality, cost, time), during the project, related to implementation constraints or the evolution of the project

– Prepares project committees and steering committees. If necessary, organizes and leads these committees

– Leads the project phases according to the CACEIS project methodology (V-Cycle, Agile) by ensuring the role entrusted to it

– Shows strength of proposal as to the resources and means to be implemented

– Identifies and assesses risks and defines appropriate action plans to minimize them and optimize solutions

– Performs the necessary arbitrations, makes decisions and assumes responsibility for them

– Motivate and train project team members

– Identifies, organizes and manages the change management activities related to a project.

6 – 10 years old

Experience

Proven experience in project management of the type:
– Transformation project(s) / program(s) in the banking or financial
sector – Digital project(s) for the implementation of Internet / Intranet portals in B to B or B to C
– Software package or core banking system implementation project
Knowledge of the world of Private Equity, Real Estate and private debt funds will be considered a major asset

 

Required skills

– Ability to manage and supervise large-scale projects (several hundred to several thousand man-days) under the management of dedicated project managers (project framing, stakeholders, monitoring of budgets, risks and coordination with project managers). project on the daily monitoring of the different stages)
– Ability to immerse oneself in new subjects (discovery of the world of investments if unknown)
– Proven experience in managing teams (technical and/or functional) with profiles of the type: internal , external, editors and potentially near-shore / Off-shore development teams on projects in Waterfall or Agile method
– Autonomous, organized, rigorous and reactive
– Involved person with a good spirit of ‘initiative
– Listening and good interpersonal skills
– Team spirit and cross-functional cooperation
– Certifications in project management

IT tools

– Mastery of project management tools/methodology: MS Project, Workflow management, budgeting/planning, Kanban, etc.
– Standard office tools and in particular Excel
– Knowledge and mastery of fund accounting tools (Global Portfolio or Multi- Funds) as well as tools dedicated to Private Equity (eFront, Yardi) will be considered a real asset

Languages

French, written and spoken English imperative, German is a plus.
