Private Equity: Coming of Age
Banking Centre “19 Liberté” (19, av. de la Liberté; L-1931 Luxembourg)
5 June 2019 at 6.00 p.m.
LPEA, in cooperation with Spuerkeess, is pleased to invite you to the conference “Private Equity: Coming of Age”, which will take place at Spuerkeess Banking Centre “19 Liberté”.
Luxembourg is a jurisdiction of choice for Private Equity and Venture Capital from all over the world. It has become an attractive hub for leading Private Equity firms and Family Offices, on the back of its solid legal and tax framework, innovative toolbox and professional ecosystem supporting the industry.
The growth of Private Equity in terms of Assets under Management has benefited to the Grand Duchy, where the strong performance of the asset class has been driving interest from an expanding range of investors. In a wider context of stock market volatility and low interest rates, the long-term focus of Private Equity provides a more stable perspective to investors keen on diversifying their portfolio allocation.
Increasingly, wealth managers, ultra high-net-worth individuals and private banks are joining the ranks of more traditional Private Equity investors e.g. pension funds and sovereign funds.
The guest speakers who represent a wide array of the Private Equity investor community in Luxembourg (all LPEA members) will provide unique insights into the factors of the success of Private Equity, and what it takes to ensure this remains sustainable.
Mrs Rajaa MEKOUAR-SCHNEIDER, Chairwoman LPEA
Mr Paul JUNCK, Managing Director LPEA
Mr Arnaud BON, Director Deloitte Luxembourg
Mr Peter VELDMAN, Head of Fund Management EQT Partners
Mr Claus MANSFELDT, Chairman & Managing Director SwanCap Investment Management S.A.
Mr Daniele CARDOSO, President Trois I S.A. Luxembourg
After the conference Spuerkeess has the pleasure to invite you to a walking dinner where the speakers will be present to answer your questions.
