Agnieszka has over 24 years of experience in the financial sector and more than 19 years as an international developer. She has acquired strong relationship management skills with a portfolio of demanding international clients with a UHNWI profile and a trusted professional network.
Over the years, Agnieszka has been active internationally in the capital markets (institutional clients) and private banking sectors. This gave her exposure to most invested asset classes: equities, fixed income, funds, alternative investments, private equity and real estate.
As an Independent Board Director for some international companies based in Luxembourg (owned by UHNWI), she participates in the monitoring of risks and governance (with a focus on private equity, real estate, and infrastructure asset classes).

Alessia Lorenti is an Independent Non-Executive Director & Advisor, with 25 years’ experience in the Luxembourg financial services industry, focusing on investment funds, asset management and banking services to Non-Bank Financial Institutions.
Alessia currently serves as iNED on several Boards of Infrastructure and Private Equity funds and GPs and on the Advisory Boards of FinTech start-ups active in the investment funds industry.
Prior to going independent in 2023, Alessia was Member of the Executive Committee and Head of Business Development for Institutional & Fund Services at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (Luxembourg), Head of Non-Bank Financial Institutions at BIL (Banque Internationale à Luxembourg), and held several positions at CACEIS, including Business Development Director – North America & UK and Business & Strategic Development Manager, covering the governance of affiliates and strategic projects.
With an in-depth understanding of the regulatory frameworks across liquid and private capital investment strategies, Alessia has accompanied fund managers in their international product and corporate development, supporting in the definition and implementation of cross-border operating models, product design and distribution strategies. Projects conducted include cross-border fund mergers, multi-jurisdictional AIFM and AIF Depositary set-ups, multi-domicile parallel co-investment structures to support international distribution needs, as well as AIF and ELTIF parallel co-investment funds catering for the institutional, HNW and retail distribution requirements.
Alessia has obtained IDP & Corporate Governance certification from INSEAD. Furthermore, Alessia is a member of the ALFI REIF Steering Committee, as well as Co-Chair of the REIF Media, Publications and Events working group and a member of the LPEA iNED Club committee. In the FinTech& RegTech domain, Alessia collaborates with the Luxembourg House of FinTech as Mentor in the framework of the Catapult acceleration programmes.
Allen Foley (CDir) is a Chartered Director with over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. Since 2012, he has specialized in directorship roles focusing on UCITS and private capital funds, including private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge funds. His expertise encompasses leading key initiatives in management companies, Professionals of the Financial Sector (PSFs), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and corporate entities. Notably, as an Executive Director at an international management company, Allen demonstrated proficiency in regulatory compliance and business expansion across Luxembourg, Bermuda, and the Cayman Islands.
Anabela is an experienced Non-Executive Director (NED) with expertise in corporate and tax governance. She has more than 20 years of experience in advising large financial sector clients and their boards with their tax strategy and fiscal risks.
She serves various boards, as NED, among which several sustainable Private Debt and Private Equity funds.
She was previously a Partner at EY Luxembourg and have held various roles at PwC Luxembourg.
To include a sustainability lens in her advice to clients she certified in Sustainable Finance and Transition to Net Zero Carbon at Cambridge University.
She is chartered accountant in Luxembourg.

Anke has more than 16 years of experience in the management and administration of alternative investment fund structures and has held senior executive positions at various fund administration firms.
She has advised and is member of the board of a number of PE/RE as well as VC and private debt funds and has taken an active role in looking after these from a corporate legal, regulatory and governance perspective.
Anne Canel, is board member for ING Luxembourg and Foyer Finance, as well as in international Private Equity funds as KLAR Partners, EOS, Spinecap and Faduval.
Anne’s areas expertise run across the broader private equity, banking and philanthropic activities.
She gained experience as CFO for various companies during 10 years and as Managing Director for HLD Europe until 2021, a Luxembourg based Private Equity Fund. She has also been Philanthropy Advisory at Banque de Luxembourg in charge of the creation and development of philanthropy advisory services. Anne has actively contributed to the alternative investment fund management industry, having previously been a Board Member of the LPEA and launched its ESG workgroup.
Aubry has over 30 years of experience leading the boards of publicly quoted and Private Equity companies to address their most high stakes issues in Corporate Strategy, M&A and Corporate Governance.
He is the Chairman of the Board of Vedihold, a large Private Equity fund, and serves on the board of Advent International portfolio companies, as well as several international insurance companies and pre-eminent family offices.
Aubry was a Senior Partner of London-based L.E.K. Consulting, where he led the Organizational Strategy & Governance practice, serving leading multinationals and Private Equity firms worldwide. He was previously partner with Pof. Michael Porter of Harvard Business School in Monitor Group, the global strategy consulting firm now part of Deloitte, where he led the Financial Services practice.
Aubry is a graduate of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and INSEAD IDP, where he contributes to the Advanced Strategy for Directors programme.

Benjamin is a professional VC investor, non-executive board director/advisor, mentor, business angel and entrepreneur.
Engineer by background, he worked 10 years for multinational consultancy firms, and then had 12 years of diverse entrepreneurial experiences as startup founder/co-founder and CEO on behalf of VC funds, investors, or on his own account. I cumulated 3+ years as board director for a multi-million capital startup, including executive chairman experience. In parallel, he has been a business angel for several years (10+ investments, active LBAN member).
In early 2023, he started the 3rd chapter of his journey by joining the world of venture capital. Cornelius joined Andersen in Luxembourg as a Partner, co-heading the Corporate Services division. Jane Wilkinson is an experienced independent non-executive director, having spent 25+ years working in the Luxembourg financial sector. Prior to going independent in 2019, Jane was a Partner at KPMG and Private Equity leader, as well as Head of Sustainable Finance at Luxembourg Stock Exchange. As well as having extensive PE experience, she is also an ESG expert, having spent time as part of the EU’s Sustainable Finance Technical Expert Group.

Jeffrey Nadal used to be Managing Director of FE Fundinfo Luxembourg, including Fundsquare S.A. part of FE Fundinfo group since September 2022 where he used to be managing Director and Chief Commercial officer. As Strategic Pursuit lead, his mandate was to support sales lead and account managers on strategic accounts/prospects across continental Europe to drive transformational deals.
His role under Fundsquare (Sept 2020- Sept 2022) was to revisit Fundsquare sales strategy and drive the company as Co-Managing Director.
Prior to Joining Luxembourg Stock Exchange Group, Jeffrey was Head of Business Development at European Fund Administration (now Universal EFA). Mandate was to articulate strategic business development road map and coordinate sales activities with EFA’s shareholders (Banque de Luxembourg, Quintet Bank (Ex KBL Luxembourg), Banque & Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat and Oddo & Cie) as well as developed new Relationship/Business development activities outside of EFA shareholders with third party custody providers (>120) and leverage existing Mancos network interacting with EFA (> 60). Jeffrey acted as Chairman of EFA client acceptance committee where he revisited the Client Acceptance Committee governance framework and procedures. He actively participated in the design and implementation of the firm’s new strategy for its Private Asset Pillar (dec 2017-Sept 2020).
Prior to EFA, Jeffrey spent 10 years at RBC Investor & Treasury Services Luxembourg, holding senior roles across operations, relationship management & business development in charge of proactive Luxembourg market entry strategy and positioning with new segmentations and inherent product offerings. He used to manage European international Asset Manager groups (Candriam, Lyxor,…), Insurance groups & Tier I Management Companies and headed the Business coordinator role and act as ambassador for RBC Dexia liaising with all RBC locations across the globe (16) for business activities related to Luxembourg. He implemented and drove the “center of Influence” approach connecting lux associations, asset servicers, law firms and advisors, and built out a tangible Luxembourgish network.
Joachim has more than 22 years of experience in the investment funds industry.
He holds mandates in the management bodies of regulated or non-regulated open and closed ended fund vehicles and financial participation vehicles in the fields of infrastructure, real estate, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds and liquid transferable securities.
Joachim is INSEAD-IDP certified and is a certified director from ILA. He sits on the board of directors and the management committee of ILA and is an active member of several committees and a regular lecturer at ILA trainings. Joachim is a member of the LPEA’s IDs & NEDs’ Club.
John has 43 years experience in the financial industry. The last 21 years were spent in the venture capital and private equity sectors where he helped to build the fund-of-fund investment team in the EIF. Now partially retired, he sits on the Board of two Luxembourg-based structures as a NE/Independent Director. He also acts as an Adviser to the LPEA.
Lieven Van Damme is an independent Board Director with over 30 years of career in the banking sector. He’s a former Deputy General Manager with hands-on credit experience. Lieven has had a client-facing career within an international bank and has extensive experience in relations with family owned businesses. He’s multilingual and has cross-cultural experiences through assignments in different countries and working within European and US organizations.
Lieven has been both an executive and a non-executive director in an international sicav. Within his banking career he has experience with the development and the restructuring of entities and lived through mergers and acquisitions cases. Within his financial career he has also been an insurance agent.
Earlier in his career Lieven has worked as an internal auditor and these experiences gave him a sound base for risk identification and remediation. He’s a certified director by ILA and Guberna and he’s currently the Co-Chair of the ILA Working Group on Audit and Risk Committees.
Lieven is also a director in two non-profit organizations.
Mark Phillips is a Certified Independent Director with the Luxembourg Institute of Directors, as well as INSEAD France, and is also a Chartered Accountant and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Mark has over 30 years of diverse experience within the finance and fund industry and is an active member of various industry associations, including the ILA Fund Committee, The Findel Group, where he is Chair, and has in the past sat on the Luxembourg Fund Association (ALFI) Regulatory Board, and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) Management Company Standing Committee.
Mark has gained extensive experience sitting on regulated and unregulated Boards of Aviva Investors, covering a diverse range of asset classes, and investment vehicles. During Mark’s eight years as CEO of Aviva Investors Luxembourg, and member of the Management Team covering Aviva Investors regulated fund ranges in six domiciles, he worked to implement best in class corporate governance practices within the organisation and at Board level.
Markus Leininger is an independent non-executive board member for regulated and unregulated corporate as well as investment structures. He is also a supervisory board member of an Estonian FinTech.
Since more than 30 years Markus is active in the European financial/banking sector. He started in Luxembourg as independent director and advisor in 2012. His sector expertise focusses on real estate, private debt/equity, digital assets and renewable energy.
He is an active mentor and member of ILA, ALFI, AmCham as well as LPEA’s iNED Club. In 2023 he got awarded the European Board Diploma by ecoDa asbl, Brussels.
Since January 2023, Mireille acts as director/non-executive director and RC for several funds and
companies, some of them being large infrastructure funds of MEAG/Munich Re group.
Prior to that, she was conducting officer responsible for risk, valuation, and compliance at MEAG
Luxembourg, a Chapter 15 ManCo and AIFM. She was also the compliance officer and RC, DPO and
ISO of MEAG Luxembourg. She has 25 years’ experience in both UCITs and AIFs.
Previously, she worked almost ten years for Schroders Luxembourg in various roles including creation
and implementation of frameworks for securitization business and large complex UCITs and AIFs
umbrellas.
In 1999, she started her career in investment funds at Nomura Bank Luxembourg where she was head
of fund administration.
She is fluent in French and English with good understanding of German.
She holds a master’s degree in finance from IESEG School of Management (Lille, France).
She was part of the first cohort of the ILA Fund Governance Masterclass and received her Fund
Governance Diploma. She is a member of ILA, ALCO, ALJB and LPEA.
Nick Curwen is an experienced non-executive director, following 25 years of professional experience with numerous years at a senior leadership level, having held regulated board roles in Luxembourg, Ireland and the UK. With leadership and strategic decision making experience in both asset management and fund administration, Nick has a track record of helping companies through major growth phases, building out businesses and teams, as well as opening regional offices. He also has extensive experience in change management having driven numerous digital transformations and strategic re-organisations.Having held senior positions at EQT, most recently, as well as SS&C and European Credit Management, Nick now supports his clients with his deep pool of knowledge and expertise across most fund structures and asset classes, with a focus on private assets.
Olivier Lambrecht graduated in HEC business school in Liège in 2000. He started his career in the heavy Industry where he ended up heading the finance team of Guardian glass manufacturing plant in Dudelange. He then moved to the Real Estate Investment industry where he was a financial controller based in Luxembourg for The Carlyle Group looking after the European funds. The following 11 years, M. Lambrecht was based in Abu Dhabi working for the sovereign wealth fund ADIA. There he was in charge of the financial team supervising the widely diversified European real estate investment portfolio. Shortly after being back in Luxembourg, he set up Alternative Investment Services (AIS) together with Damien Rensonnet. They offer senior operational assistance to alternative investors’ financial teams. Also, they both serve as non-executive Directors on the board of different entities.
Paolo is an Independent Director in Luxembourg domiciled Management Companies, Alternative Investments and Private Market Funds. His experience started in the Fund Services sector in the USA. Then he moved on to Europe and joined some of the largest Alternative Investment service providers with senior business development and strategic client solution roles. During these experiences he was actively involved in the creation and management of several large fund structures among which hedge funds, private equit, venture capital under regulated and unregulated companies.
Paolo has been Conducting Person, Senior Client Advisor and Consultant for Third Party Management Companies. He has been working for some of the largest United Nations Agencies in technical cooperation projects related to sustainability and technology.
Paolo holds a MBA in international management from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management and he is fluent in multiple languages. He is member of LPEA, the INED club and ILA.
Paul E. Cornet serves as a non-executive board member to alternative investment (Venture, Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Private Credit, and Venture/PE/Credit Secondaries) companies (AIF, AIFM, Holding Co., IFM, Manco, RAIF, SIF, SICAR, SPVs, Sec. Vehicle, UCI Part II).
Paul brings independent judgment to bear on issues of strategy, policy, resources, performance, regulatory matters and substance through a commitment to a responsive, constructive and consultative approach to corporate governance, a technical knowledge of investing and trading, experience in responsible investment (ESG), portfolio management and risk management, and an awareness of investor concerns.
With over three decades of capital markets experience in investment management, investment banking, family office, private equity and restructuring, Paul has advised both executives and the governing bodies of privately- and publicly-owned companies on valuation, capital raising, restructuring, asset allocation, direct investment and manager selection.
Paul obtained an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California. He holds both Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certifications. He serves on the Private Equity & Venture Capital and Debt Funds Special Committees of ALFI “Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry”, as a CAIA Chapter Executive and as a member of LPEA (Luxembourg Private Equity Association) and ILA (Luxembourgish Institute of Directors). Paul is bilingual in English and French. He is also a frequent speaker on matters covering AIFMD, responsible investment/ESG and democratization of private assets.
Riccardo del Tufo is a Partner of The Directors’ Office, the leading practice of Independent Directors in Luxembourg. Riccardo has over 25 years of international experience in the Investment Funds Industry.
Over the course of his career, he has covered various roles in Control Functions, Risk Management, Investment Management and Product Structuring.
In his time with the Waystone group in Luxembourg, Riccardo has been involved in the launch and the day-to-day management of a wide spectrum of products, from UCITS long-only Funds to Alternatives (Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Infrastructure Funds and others), contributing to the Product Structuring, Investment Committees, Risk Committees.
Heading a team of up to 50 members and covering all aspects of a Third-Party Management Company business, Riccardo has helped servicing a very internationally diverse client base and has been able to build strong ties within the Luxembourg Market.
Simon is an independent non-executive director and interim senior executive.
He has 25 years of experience in Luxembourg, spent for the vast majority in the field of services to Alternative Investment Funds (AIF).
Simon is a former partner at Grant Thornton Luxembourg.
Prior to that he has built and led, as managing director and board member, during more than 10 years, the Luxembourg entity of Ipes (now merged into Apex), a major Private Equity fund administration business. Ipes Luxembourg was a Professional of the Financial Sector, supervised by the CSSF, and went through various licensing processes. Simon was also a Member of the Group Operational Management Team of that private equity backed business.
Before this he worked as an independent consultant with a focus in the field of Real Estate investment funds, assisting Real Estate managers in setting-up operations in Luxembourg. He was also a member of a pricing committee on an open-ended fund of funds.
Simon started his career in audit with Arthur Andersen and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
He has gained 15+ years’ experience as a director on a number of Private Equity funds and corporate entities, including among others Fund of Funds, Buy-Out, Venture Capital funds, Debt/credit funds & Mezzanine.
He also participated to the set-up of various start-ups and joined the management of an industrial company for an interim period.
Simon has a Master in Commercial and Financial Sciences from HEC Liège.
He has been an active LPEA Member sitting on various committees from 2011 to 2019 and is from 2023 member of the LPEA iNED Club.
Simon has also a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD and is an ILA Certified Director.
Thomas has 15+ years of experience in leading top tier consulting projects for PE/VC funds as well as for other financial services entities, such as Investment Firm, Management Company (AIF, UCITS), Asset Servicer (PSF specialised and support), (International) Central Securities Depositary, Credit Institution, Payment (PI) – and e-Money Institution (EMI), Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) and Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP).
He was engaged by either Management (CEO), Operations (COO), Finance (CFO), Compliance (CCO), AML/CTF (MLRO) or Regulatory/Risk (CRO). He contributes to thought leadership material to provide assistance in the organisational transformation process, collaborates within industry groups to establish industry guidelines and best practices for efficient adaptation of regulatory requirements, and participates in the legislative process by providing guidance to regulatory consultations issued by the EU and CSSF.
Tram is an entrepreneur, independent and executive board director, advisor and former Fortune 50 C-level Executive with over 25 years of leadership in innovation and technology-driven, regulated and highly disruptive industries across five continents.
She is recognized for connecting the dots in the boardroom and bringing fresh international collaboration and market expansion lenses to founder-owned and PE-backed portfolio, powered by a diverse global network. She has served in executive, advisory, and board leadership positions for varying sized nonprofits, public and private structured organizations, family-owned businesses, startups, and private equity. As an inclusive leader, she has been interviewed and featured in four chapters of the book “The 5 Disciplines of Inclusive Leaders: Unleashing the Power of All of Us” published in 2020.
Tram holds an MBA from McGill University, a US CPA Certified Public Accountant License, the Financial Times NED diploma and the PDA Certificate in Private Company Governance.
Uli Grabenwarter, is Director – Equity Investments at European Investment Fund (EIF). In
this capacity he oversees EIF’s equity investment activities across the entire investment
spectrum including fund investments in Technology Transfer, Venture Capital, Private
Equity, Private Credit, Impact Investing, and Infrastructure funds. Previously he was
responsible for EIF’s strategic development in the equity investment and in this context has
led the build-up of the Social Impact Accelerator, the first pan-European impact investing
fund-of-funds. From 2010 to 2012 he conducted a 20 months research project on impact
investing in collaboration with IESE University of Navarra in Barcelona and the Family Office
Circle Foundation based in Switzerland, analysing best-market-practices for impact
investing in the private equity and venture capital space. He is a visiting Professor for
Private Equity and Venture Capital at IESE University of Navarra in Barcelona and, in his
personal capacity, is an angel investor in life sciences companies. From 2018 to 2021 he
served as a Trustees of the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (www.GSGII.org),
He currently is on the Board of several asset management companies and family office
structures. He regularly publishes articles and white papers on venture capital and impact
investing. Uli is also member of several expert groups on impact investing and impact
metrics across Europe. Uli holds a master’s degree in business and finance of the University
of Graz.
