Aubry is a Certified Independent Director and recognised authority on strategy and governance. His board experience spans CAA and CSSF regulated entities, private equity funds, portfolio companies, and leading institutions.

He has served as:

· Chairman of the Board, multi-billion PE fund Vedihold s.a.

· Independent Director for Advent International portfolio companies with global multi-billion investments

· Independent Director of Ariana, a Luxembourg family office

· Independent Director of Moventum, an Oaktree-owned financial services provider for IFAs

· Independent Director of AFI-ESCA, a €5Bn insurer in Benelux and France with KKR investment

· Chairman of the Board, Alcea, a Geneva foundation supporting entrepreneurship with ETH Zürich and EPFL Lausanne

Aubry’s board work focuses on high-stakes challenges in corporate governance, restructuring, strategy, M&A, value creation, and post-merger integration.

Across his 30-year executive career as a strategy consultant, he advised leading players in private equity, financial services, technology, medtech, specialty chemicals, and food ingredients.

With his Partner Prof. Michael Porter of Harvard Business School, he played a pivotal role in developing strategy consultancy Monitor Group in London & Paris. Under his leadership, the Financial Services practice became a benchmark in the sector. Following Monitor’s acquisition by Deloitte in 2012, Aubry created the Governance & Value Creation practice of L.E.K. Consulting in London, broadening his influence to some of the most prestigious Private Equity funds.

A Booth Chicago MBA and Louvain graduate, Aubry publishes regularly in the Harvard Business Review and other media, and teaches Advanced Strategy for Directors at INSEAD IDP.
