Opportunity: Full-time Investment Director position
Location: Luxembourg
Job Description:
Source, execute, manage and exit debt and warrants/limited equity transactions and monitor the performance of companies in the portfolio. Interact with management of companies and investors in the IPF Funds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and screening investment opportunities,
- Representing and presenting IPF Partners to potential prospects at industry conferences,
- Organizing and attending potential borrowers’ management presentations,
- Structuring debt financing transactions (determining appropriate deal structure, debt quantum, amortization profile, security/ covenant package and pricing structure),
- Drafting commercial proposals (answering RFPs, preparing pitch presentations and detailed term sheets),
- Performing credit analysis, reviewing due diligence materials and preparing investment memos (financial analysis, financial modeling and stress testing management projections, drafting info memo)
- Negotiating the transaction legal framework (credit agreement, security package, equity instruments/warrants…),
- Preparing investment portfolio updates and reviews (including follow-up of deal milestones and financial covenants, contribute to periodical portfolio reviews/ fund presentations),
- Presenting to investment committee,
- Developing marketing materials & presentations, and contributing to the investment strategy and the investment platform development,
- Collaborating with the chief financial officer on operational matters and administrative tasks,
- Performing other duties, as assigned by the team.
Required Skills:
- Successful 7 to 10 years of working experience in debt financing and / or restructuring (Structured Debt Financing, LBO Financing, etc) or M&A in a debt or restructuring fund or investment bank;
- Leading university or business school degree, preferably in finance, business or economics;
- Thorough knowledge of debt financing, LMA documentation required. Knowledge of healthcare sector a plus but not a must;
- Computer literacy with excellent commands of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point;
- Fluent in English;
- Strong communication, planning, presentation and organizational skills;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Self-starter willing to contribute to the growth of the organization;
- Reliable and committed with strong work ethics, relationship skills and positive energy.
