Domos by Simcorp

Kartesia partnered with Domos to transform and digitalise its investor onboarding and investor relations processes, addressing the growing complexity of private markets operations and rising expectations from LPs.

The implementation introduces a fully integrated, end-to-end investor journey within a unique platform. Investors can seamlessly access fund marketing materials via secured data rooms, complete their onboarding over dynamic questionnaire, online KYC process, autogenerated subscription agreement, with digital signatures, and access ongoing documents reporting.

From an operational perspective, Domos enables Kartesia’s teams to centralise and streamline all team’s workflows. Through direct integration with their CRM system, Kartesia grant dataroom access to investor instantly, monitor prospects engagement through analytics, and initiate and track onboarding processes in transparency. The investor relations team inputs investor data in DealCloud while the Client service’s team operates in Domos leading to a streamline process, full accuracy between platforms and less email chains or human mistake-prone inputs. Teams of delegated counterparties also use Domos to upload notices, send notifications to contact lists, access documents, and perform KYC process.

Domos as a dedicated portal serves as a one-stop shop for investors, facilitates the monitoring and management of interactions with investors (emails, access, documents,…) and allows for efficient collaboration between internal and external teams on single database of data.

The innovative aspect of this implementation lies in the consolidation of previously fragmented and manual processes into a single, combining marketing, onboarding, and reporting capabilities. This not only significantly improves the investor experience in unified experience but also reinforces Kartesia’s governance and ownership over its investor relations activities while reducing friction throughout all firm.

In practice, the project has delivered measurable value across three keypoints: First, efficiency gains through automation and reduced manual intervention have accelerated onboarding timelines and lowered operational burden. Second, enhanced control and visibility over investor data and processes have strengthened governance and decision-making. Third, the modern, user-friendly interface has elevated the overall investor experience, aligning with the expectations of today’s LPs.

This collaboration demonstrates how technology can be effectively leveraged to modernise private markets operations, delivering tangible benefits for both the asset manager and its investors.
