Department Overview

The Sales department is responsible for the strategic planning of overall business growth identifying opportunities with new Companies and Clients for all Monex currency products (FX Spot, Forwards, Options) as well as maintaining relationships with existing Companies and Clients, increasing their business revenue and cross  collaborating with the Introducing Brokers (IB) department wherever possible.

Job Overview

A Corporate Sales Executive is responsible for the management of the Sales relationships with existing client accounts as well as prospecting new Clients and Accounts. They serve as the interface between Clients and the Dealing Team and work closely with Compliance and Risk to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Actively involved in all aspects of the 360 ​​Sales Cycle:
    • Prospecting & Lead generation (sourcing & pitching).
    • Planning Sales calls, Meetings, Post Call follow ups.
    • Presentations & Documentation.
    • Owning/Implementing Sales.
    • Post Sale Follow-Up, Repeat Sales & Upselling.
  • Developing & maintaining strong Client Relationships (via Trading team where appropriate).
  • Maintaining current market knowledge (eg reading financial press, attending webinars etc.).
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast.
  • Meeting set Sales targets/KPI’s on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Keeping accurate records and client interaction notes in the Company database FXDB (in line with GDPR requirements).
  • Developing & maintaining strong Client Relationships (via Trading team where appropriate).
  • Maintaining current market knowledge (eg reading financial press, attending webinars etc.).
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast.

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous Sales experience within a Business to Business (B2B) role.
  • Experience of working within a regulated financial services firm is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of operating at a Sales Manager level within a commercial Sales environment (both face to face and telephone sales).
  • Able to clearly articulate full understanding of end-to-end Sales processes.
  • Able to demonstrate strong Sales techniques (Persuasive, Negotiation & Closing skills).

Qualifications

  • BA in Finance, Commercial Economics, Sales & Marketing or Management (desirable)
  • Formal Sales Training, preferably within (regulated) Financial Services (desirable)

Languages

  • High standard of oral & written English is mandatory
  • Fluency in other European languages, such as German, French, Polish, Romanian, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Spanish, is highly desirable
