About LPEA

The Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA) represents the private markets ecosystem in Luxembourg. Through events, publications, and thought leadership initiatives, LPEA connects industry stakeholders and supports the development of Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Debt and Infrastructure activities.

Internship Overview

The LPEA is seeking a motivated Events & Communication Intern to support the team on specific projects and initiatives. This internship is project-based and designed as a learning opportunity, offering exposure to Luxembourg’s finance sector and the private markets ecosystem in particular.

The intern will work closely with the Events & Communication team and support ongoing projects linked to LPEA’s annual agenda (e.g. conferences, roadshows, publications and digital initiatives).

Key Responsibilities (Project-Based Support)

  • Support the preparation and delivery of LPEA events
  • Assist with event logistics, registration follow-up, speaker coordination and on-site support
  • Contribute to post-event reporting and feedback analysis
  • Assist in preparing communication materials (event pages, newsletters, website updates, social media and video)
  • Help compile and structure content for publications and reports
  • Support the preparation of event KPIs, participation statistics and performance reports
  • Assist with surveys, data collection and presentation of results
  • Provide administrative support related to projects
  • Assist with stakeholder follow-ups related to specific initiatives

Profile & Requirements

  • Student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, marketing, business, political science, economics, event management or a related field
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Interest, and ideally experience, for event management & communication
  • Knowledge of the financial / private markets ecosystem would constitute an advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English required; French is an asset)
  • Comfortable with digital tools (Office suite, basic CMS, Canva, social media platforms)
  • Proactive, reliable and eager to learn in a professional association environment
