Rosa is the head of the Macquarie Luxembourg office. In this role she is responsible for coordinating the strategy of the office, managing all Macquarie Luxembourg entities, and ensuring that the Luxembourg entities comply with legal and tax requirements under Luxembourg corporate law. She is responsible for managing specific transactions such as restructuring, refinancing and reorganization.

As part of her role Rosa is sitting on the boards of Macquarie entities with infrastructure investments. She has a deep understanding across a broad spectrum of diversified industries segregated by geography (Europe, South Africa, Canada, Russia, and Asia) and sector (toll roads, airports, regulated utilities, renewable energy, telecommunications, port, rail).

Rosa joined Macquarie in December 2008. Prior to joining Macquarie, from 2004 until July 2008, Rosa headed up the Luxembourg office of Goldman Sachs where she was responsible for administering all of Goldman Sachs’ Private Equity, Mezzanine and Real Estate subsidiaries in Luxembourg. As part of this role she sat on the boards of Luxembourg companies.

Prior to coming to Luxembourg, Rosa had 10 years of comprehensive finance and accounting experience in a myriad of diverse enterprises, from a German Chocolate Producer, to a Spanish commercial construction conglomerate. 

Hind joined Astorg in 2019 and is a member of the Corporate Functions Team.

Prior to joining Astorg, Hind spent 3 years as a Senior Manager in the Corporate Finance divisions at KPMG and PwC in Luxembourg servicing mainly alternative investment funds investing in Venture Capital, Buyouts, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Debt.

Before that, she spent 7 years in the Deals Valuation practice at PwC Amsterdam with a focus on financial statement analysis and value creation for corporate players, especially in Telecom, Media and Technology industry.

Hind started her career as an intern at the Corporate Finance team at PwC Amsterdam in September 2009.

Hind holds an Executive MBA from Groningen University (Netherlands) and an MSc. in Financial Management from Nyenrode University (Netherlands). Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor in Economics & International Law at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis.

Alexander Tkachenko is a Managing Partner of 2be.lu VC fund;  CEO and founder of VNX – a digital asset investment platform; co-chair of VC club at LPEA (Luxembourg’s PE and VC association) and Executive Council member at Digital Banking and Fintech Cluster in Luxembourg’s Banks Association (ABBL). 

Ko joined InfraRed in 2011. He is responsible for InfraRed’s compliance framework, ensuring that InfraRed conducts its fund management activities in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

Prior to joining InfraRed, Ko worked at Hermes Investment Management, where he provided compliance advice and support to a multi asset class business including Private Equity and Real Estate.

Jed Grant, CEO of KYC3, is an investor and entrepreneur. A regtech leader and decentralized systems architect, he was named in the Top 200 FinTech Leaders in Europe by LATTICE80 in March of 2018 and in 2019 as a Top  EU blockchain expert by Blockpool. 

Jed founded KYC3 in 2014 leveraging big data & machine learning for compliance automation for alternative assets, PE, WM and VASPs.  In 2008, Jed was co-founder of Sandstone SA, a boutique private intel agency. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Luxembourg, lecturing on KYC/AML for the Masters in Wealth Management.

An expert on blockchain, Jed has patented PeerChain, a blockchain layer 2 protocol ecosystem for trust, the core of Peer Mountain. He is active in many non-profits including the Luxembourg Blockchain and DLT Association, Institute for Financial Integrity and Sustainability and Infrachain. He is on several INATBA committees and is CTO in Residence on the EU public sector blockchain project “TOKEN”. 

Jed has worked with many leading minds, including Prof. Jorge Sanz, IBM Research Retail Banking Lead, Prof. Thomas Engle, member of the European Security Research Advisory Board (ESRAB), and Jacques Santer, 9th President of the European Commission and Prime Minister of Luxembourg. 

In his pre-entrepreneurial career Jed was a senior civilian officer, IT section chief, at NATO and CTO of Artemis Information Management.

After nearly a decade at global private equity pioneer Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., Dr. Steffen Pauls founded Moonfare, a platform that is revolutionising private markets investing. Moonfare recently ranked as one of LinkedIn’s top 10 startups in Germany. 

 

Dr. Pauls began his career at The Boston Consulting Group, where he led project teams covering strategic and operational projects at publicly listed European companies. He brought his experience as a consultant to KKR, where as a managing director he covered the German market and resided as a senior member of the company’s private equity deal team. 

 

At Moonfare, Dr. Pauls has shifted his focus to the experience of limited partners, or investors who offer their capital to private equity funds. Moonfare both lowers investment minimums and conducts due diligence on funds, eliminating the barriers to entry for individual investors that have long governed the industry. Dr. Pauls serves as Moonfare’s chairman and chief executive officer, setting the company’s overall strategy and leading a team of managing directors.

 

A serial entrepreneur, Dr. Pauls also founded 7 Global Capital, a technology growth fund based in San Francisco; Momentar Advisors, a specialized M&A boutique; and firstfive AG, a financial rating agency. 

 

Prior to joining CORDET in 2013, Christian was part of Credit Suisse’s Financial Sponsor Group working on origination, structuring and execution of financings for LBOs and other private equity related transactions. Before that, he worked at StormHarbour and Dresdner Kleinwort in leveraged finance. Earlier in his career, Christian served in the Royal Danish Armed Forces (Navy).

Christian holds a MA (Honours) in Financial Economics from the University of St Andrews and an MBA from INSEAD.

He speaks Danish (native), Swedish (fluent), Norwegian (fluent), German (conversational) and French (basic).

Bogdan Gogulan is acting as CEO of NewSpace Capital. He has more than 15 years of experience in finance, product and business development. Before initiating NewSpace Capital he worked in communication, security and defense industries, managing break through projects for security and defense agencies in the Middle East and Central Asia. Prior to that, Bogdan worked for American Express and Deutsche Bank. Since 2010, Bogdan actively cooperated with UN Alliance of Civilization’s (UNAOC) participating as a OYW Ambassador in the UN Sustainable Development Goal’s initiative. Bogdan holds a BSc in Financial Economics from University of Essex and graduated from Abingdon Whitney College.

Mr. Estevez is a Venture Partner with Accel Partners, a global leader in venture capital with past investments in top companies such as Atlassian, Dropbox, Facebook, Qualtrics, Slack, Squarespace and Spotify.  As a Venture Partner based in South Carolina, Mr. Estevez helps existing portfolio companies based outside of Silicon Valley with their growth opportunities and scale challenges.  Mr. Estevez is also a limited partner in various Accel funds.  Mr. Estevez is also a board advisor to several leading venture capital firms of the Southeast United States, including Bull City Ventures, Construct Capital, Knoll Ventures and Noro-Moseley Partners.

Mr.  Estevez is also a direct investor in some of the top private software companies in the world, including 1Password, BetterCloud, FullStory, Pindrop, UIPath and Webflow.  He currently serves as Chairman Emeritus for Venture Atlanta, one of the top venture & entrepreneurship conferences in the country.  He also serves as Chairman of NEXT Venture Pitch, the top entrepreneur pitch competition in the Carolinas, and he has been a finals judge in venture pitch competitions at eMerge (Miami), Global Ventures Summit (Luxembourg), Startup Battle (Atlanta) and SXSW (Austin – 2020).

Prior to Accel, Mr. Estevez served as CFO of Atlassian (Nasdaq: TEAM), a global leader in team collaboration software valued at over $40 billion.  Prior to Atlassian, Mr. Estevez served as CFO of Silicon Valley-based BigFix (Sold to IBM) and President & CFO of South Carolina-based Datastream (Nasdaq: DSTM, Sold to Infor). Mr. Estevez earned an MBA with distinction from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard College.

Andrea Millioni is a Managing Director at SwanCap Investment Management. SwanCap is an independent investment management platform specialised in Private Equity buyout with about €3bn AUM and offices in Munich, Luxembourg, Milan and New York. SwanCap was established in 2013 by the former UniCredit Private Equity unit, where Andrea worked since 2008 focusing on the origination and execution of direct investments and co-investments. Previously, he spent three years as a Buy-Side Analyst and Portfolio Manager at WestHarbour Capital, a London-based hedge fund targeting low-risk double digit returns through special situations, M&A and relative value strategies. Andrea began his career in finance at JPMorgan, where he was as a member of the bank’s M&A group from 1999 to 2005, in London and Milan, and was directly involved in deals worth in excess of €50bn. Andrea graduated from Bocconi University in Milan, and later received a MSc degree from Rotterdam School of Management and a CEMS Master in Management.

SwanCap Investment Management S.A. together with its advisor SwanCap Partners GmbH is a leading independent Investment Management Platform with c. €3 billion of assets under management across offices in Munich, Luxembourg (own AIFM), Milan and New York.

SwanCap specialized in the Private Equity buyout segment offering an “integrated investment strategy” to its predominantly institutional investors by combining private equity primary investments, direct secondaries and direct co-investments.

Peter has studied Business Economics at the UVA in Amsterdam. After his graduation, Peter started his career at the Dutch Central Bank and continued at ABN AMRO where he was a senior trader followed by Cyrte Investments and Ownership Capital where he was the COO. Peter joined EQT in 2014 as Managing Director in the Amsterdam GP office, where he was responsible for the Dutch-based Funds. In 2017 Peter relocated together with his wife and 2 teenage boys to Luxembourg where he became the Head of Fund Management, taking full responsibility of the EQT Fund Management platform. In 2019 he took on the role of Deputy Group Head of Fund Operations that next to Luxembourg, has (legacy) locations in Guernsey, London, Stockholm, and Amsterdam. Currently, around 85 of EQT’s FTE’s are part of the Fund Operations organization. 

Bjorn Tremmerie executes and monitors investments in Venture Capital Funds in Europe and is in charge of a portfolio of over 150 European VC funds at the European Investment Fund (EIF). Bjorn is involved with the Dutch Venture Initiative Funds-of-Funds where he is an investment committee member and is also a member of KfW Capital’s Advisory Board. Previous role responsibilities include the management of the European Angel Fund co-investment programme that features more than 100 enrolled Business Angels through which co-investments in start-ups are implemented. Bjorn also previously led the EUR 4.2bn ERP-EIF Dachfonds programme that EIF administers on behalf of the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), an initiative dedicated to the German VC market. Before joining EIF, Bjorn worked for a globally active VC fund. He started his career at ING in investment banking.
