David Moscato, LL.M., MIoD, TEP is a financial services expert with over 25 years of international experience across regulatory advisory, structured finance, private equity, and executive leadership. He began his career in Debt Capital Markets Division of Merrill Lynch in Milan before moving into legal advisory roles and senior positions at firms such as Equity Trust, Maples (where he founded and led the Luxembourg office), Deutsche Bank and several fiduciarie where he headed Tax & Legal for fiduciary and corporate services. He has served on the boards of over 60 companies, funds, and non-profits, including regulated entities in Luxembourg, Mauritius, and Belize. David is an approved member of the UK Institute of Directors (IoD), a member of the Luxembourg Institute of Directors (ILA), and serves on ILA’s Financial Services Committee. He is also a committee member of the Corporate Governance Commission for unlisted companies at ecoDA in Brussels. In 2018, he founded Quarantia Capital Advisory, specializing in venture capital and private equity, hospitality-focused real estate advisory, and independent directorship and governance services. He is a frequent speaker and think tank contributor on venture capital and hospitality investment.
