On 12-13 October, industry experts on responsible investment from the LP, GP and advisory communities will deliver the Invest Europe Training on Integrating Responsible Investment.
The topic of responsible investment continues to grow in significance for the private equity industry. As society addresses the sustainability agenda, the consideration and management of ESG risks and opportunities in the investment process is becoming more important for GPs and LPs alike to safeguard the long-term performance of their investments.
Everything a fund does, from its inception and the establishment of its governance through its fundraising and the exits it achieves, has an angle of responsible investment in which LPs, portfolio companies, trade buyers, public markets investors, regulators and other stakeholders all take a growing interest.
This training course offers practical knowledge, utilising case studies and providing delegates with guidance on implementing responsible investment related strategies and processes. The training course has been designed by members of the Invest Europe Responsible Investment Roundtable.
The course will take place on 12-13 October in London and spaces are limited to allow for access to the experts. The networking dinner on 12 October will provide an opportunity to exchange views and best practices with peers.
