Legal & Regulatory Manager
About LPEA :
The Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association is a member-based, non-profit association established in 2010. LPEA represents, promotes and protects the interests of the Luxembourg private equity and venture capital industry. LPEA is a member of Invest Europe and of LFF (Luxembourg for Finance).
Objective:
- Reinforce the LPEA office regarding Regulatory/Legal matters in order to improve LPEA’s advocacy and public policy role
Tasks:
- Research and monitor of PE-VC related information regarding regulatory, legal, tax and market Intelligence matters
- Support the technical committees (legal, tax, accounting & valuation, market intelligence &training) and follow closely their activities (roadmap-meetings-follow up)
- Technical input to LPEA representatives (HCPF, CSSF-GFIA, Invest Europe, Profil…) and to the Executive Committee – Get notes, minutes and produce summary for the Executive Committee
- Prepare and monitor ongoing consultation processes (European Commission, ESMA…)
- Push information to the Members’ portal
Contract:
- Unlimited period / Part-time
- Reporting to the Managing Director
Profile:
- Legal background (graduated in Business Law)
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in the field of PE-VC would be an advantage
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Computer literate (fluent use of Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent English and French (German/Luxemburgish would be an advantage)
- Team player, flexible
