Luxembourg, 19 May 2026 – The Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA) signed last week the Diversity Charter promoted by IMS Luxembourg. This signature represents a natural step in LPEA’s broader ESG commitment and reflects the association’s continued engagement in promoting sustainable and responsible practices across the Private Equity and Venture Capital industry.

By signing the Charter, LPEA further strengthens its commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities within the sector. Beyond the association itself, this initiative also highlights LPEA’s ability to mobilise its members and encourage the wider industry to move in the same responsible direction.

The Diversity Charter is built around six core commitments:

ARTICLE 1: Raise awareness, train and involve the decision-makers and partners to the challenges of diversity as a source of enrichment, innovation, progress and social cohesion.

ARTICLE 2: Define a diversity policy and implement practices and action plans that consciously integrate the management of individual differences.

ARTICLE 3: Apply the principles of equal opportunities and promotion of diversity in the company’s decision-making and management processes as well as in the management of its human resources.

ARTICLE 4: Evaluate these practices, their results and their effects regularly.

ARTICLE 5: Communicate to all the company stakeholders the commitments made and the concrete results of the implemented actions.

ARTICLE 6:  Encourage all of its partners to also work in favour of non-discrimination and the promotion of diversity.

The signing of the Diversity Charter is fully aligned with LPEA’s existing “Entreprise Responsable” certification issued by INDR Luxembourg, further reinforcing the association’s long-term ESG strategy.
LPEA also actively leads two initiatives closely connected to the Charter’s objectives:

– The ESG Club, which addresses ESG implementation challenges within the Private Equity industry.
– The Private Equity for Women Club (PE4W), an initiative designed to support the integration of women in the sector and help them navigate the challenges associated with progressing into senior leadership roles.

Through these initiatives and commitments, LPEA continues to contribute to building a more inclusive, responsible and sustainable financial ecosystem in Luxembourg.
