Anabela is an experienced Non-Executive Director (NED) with expertise in corporate and tax governance. She has more than 20 years of experience in advising large financial sector clients and their boards with their tax strategy and fiscal risks.

She serves various boards, as NED, among which several sustainable Private Debt and Private Equity funds.

She was previously a Partner at EY Luxembourg and have held various roles at PwC Luxembourg.

To include a sustainability lens in her advice to clients she certified in Sustainable Finance and Transition to Net Zero Carbon at Cambridge University.

She is chartered accountant in Luxembourg.

She is an active member of the LPEA NED club and ESG workgroup.

Anke Jager

Anke has more than 16 years of experience in the management and administration of alternative investment fund structures and has held senior executive positions at various fund administration firms.

She has advised and is member of the board of a number of PE/RE as well as VC and private debt funds and has taken an active role in looking after these from a corporate legal, regulatory and governance perspective.

Anne Canel

Anne Canel, is board member for ING Luxembourg and Foyer Finance,  as well as in international Private Equity funds as KLAR Partners, EOS, Spinecap and Faduval.

Anne’s areas expertise run across the broader private equity, banking and philanthropic activities.

She gained experience as CFO for various companies during 10 years and as Managing Director for HLD Europe until 2021, a Luxembourg based Private Equity Fund. She has also been Philanthropy Advisory at Banque de Luxembourg in charge of the creation and development of philanthropy advisory services. Anne has actively contributed to the alternative investment fund management industry, having previously been a Board Member of the LPEA and launched its ESG workgroup.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Vedihold, a large Private Equity fund, and serves on the board of Advent International portfolio companies, as well as several international insurance companies and pre-eminent family offices.

Aubry was a Senior Partner of London-based L.E.K. Consulting, where he led the Organizational Strategy & Governance practice, serving leading multinationals and Private Equity firms worldwide. Michael Porter of Harvard Business School in Monitor Group, the global strategy consulting firm now part of Deloitte, where he led the Financial Services practice.

Benjamin is a professional VC investor, non-executive board director/advisor, mentor, business angel and entrepreneur.

Engineer by background, he worked 10 years for multinational consultancy firms, and then had 12 years of diverse entrepreneurial experiences as startup founder/co-founder and CEO on behalf of VC funds, investors, or on his own account. She has spent all her career in fund investment and management, where she developed a strong interest and expertise in all aspects of fund management, in particular for governance, valuation, GP-LP balance and ESG.

She started at BNP Paribas where she was successively part of the Private Equity team and leader of the investments in VC / Healthcare.

She moved to one of the pioneers of hybrid debt-equity (Euromezzanine, now EMZ) and then to AXA Private Equity (now Ardian) where she led the VC practice.

In 2006 she joined the European Investment Fund in Luxembourg, where she has been responsible for investments in Private Equity funds in Western Europe until end of 2022. 

Since end of 2022 she is a member of corporate bodies of private equity players, participating to their governance at different stages of their development.

Cornelius joined Andersen in Luxembourg as a Partner, co-heading the Corporate Services division. François has founded Simply Treasury, a company that delivers advisory in treasury, corporate finance and ERM. Before and until December 2019, he was Head of Corporate Finance, Treasury and Enterprise Risk Management at RTL Group, leading European media company. He joined RTL in 1997. Before, he worked for Eridania Béghin-Say and ABN.AMRO. He is Doctor in Tax Law, has degree in Economy and Administration from the University of Liège and is graduated from the Solvay Business School as Executive master’s in management.

He is certified ICIS and ICIP (Internal Controls Institute Professional) and ISO 31000 certified. He is also certified from Sacred Heart University (SHU) in Private Equity Funds.

He is Chair of Association of Corporate Treasurers of Luxembourg (ATEL), Chair of European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT), member of the Financial Instrument Working Group created by the IAS Board in 2004. Jane Wilkinson is an experienced independent non-executive director, having spent 25+ years working in the Luxembourg financial sector.  Prior to going independent in 2019, Jane was a Partner at KPMG and Private Equity leader, as well as Head of Sustainable Finance at Luxembourg Stock Exchange.  As well as having extensive PE experience, she is also an ESG expert, having spent time as part of the EU’s Sustainable Finance Technical Expert Group.

Jeffrey Nadal used to be Managing Director of FE Fundinfo Luxembourg, including Fundsquare S.A. part of FE Fundinfo group since September 2022 where he used to be managing Director and Chief Commercial officer. As Strategic Pursuit lead, his mandate was to support sales lead and account managers on strategic accounts/prospects across continental Europe to drive transformational deals.
His role under Fundsquare (Sept 2020- Sept 2022) was to revisit Fundsquare sales strategy and drive the company as Co-Managing Director.

Prior to Joining Luxembourg Stock Exchange Group, Jeffrey was Head of Business Development at European Fund Administration (now Universal EFA). Mandate was to articulate strategic business development road map and coordinate sales activities with EFA’s shareholders (Banque de Luxembourg, Quintet Bank (Ex KBL Luxembourg), Banque & Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat and Oddo & Cie) as well as developed new Relationship/Business development activities outside of EFA shareholders with third party custody providers (>120) and leverage existing Mancos network interacting with EFA (> 60). Jeffrey acted as Chairman of EFA client acceptance committee where he revisited the Client Acceptance Committee governance framework and procedures. He actively participated in the design and implementation of the firm’s new strategy for its Private Asset Pillar (dec 2017-Sept 2020).

Prior to EFA, Jeffrey spent 10 years at RBC Investor & Treasury Services Luxembourg, holding senior roles across operations, relationship management & business development in charge of proactive Luxembourg market entry strategy and positioning with new segmentations and inherent product offerings. He used to manage European international Asset Manager groups (Candriam, Lyxor,…), Insurance groups & Tier I Management Companies and headed the Business coordinator role and act as ambassador for RBC Dexia liaising with all RBC locations across the globe (16) for business activities related to Luxembourg. The last 21 years were spent in the venture capital and private equity sectors where he helped to build the fund-of-fund investment team in the EIF. Now partially retired, he sits on the Board of two Luxembourg-based structures as a NE/Independent Director. He also acts as an Adviser to the LPEA.

Lieven Van Damme

Lieven Van Damme is an independent Board Director with over 30 years of career in the banking sector. He’s a former Deputy General Manager with hands-on credit experience.  Lieven has had a client-facing career within an international bank and has extensive experience in relations with family owned businesses. He’s multilingual and has cross-cultural experiences through assignments in different countries and working within European and US organizations.

Lieven has been both an executive and a non-executive director in an international sicav. Within his banking career he has experience with the development and the restructuring of entities and lived through mergers and acquisitions cases. Within his financial career he has also been an insurance agent.

Earlier in his career Lieven has worked as an internal auditor and these experiences gave him a sound base for risk identification and remediation. He’s a certified director by ILA and Guberna and he’s currently the Co-Chair of the ILA Working Group on Audit and Risk Committees.

Mark Phillips is a Certified Independent Director with the Luxembourg Institute of Directors, as well as INSEAD France, and is also a Chartered Accountant and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Mark has over 30 years of diverse experience within the finance and fund industry and is an active member of various industry associations, including the ILA Fund Committee, The Findel Group, where he is Chair, and has in the past sat on the Luxembourg Fund Association (ALFI) Regulatory Board, and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) Management Company Standing Committee.

Olivier Lambrecht

Olivier Lambrecht graduated in HEC business school in Liège in 2000. He started his career in the heavy Industry where he ended up heading the finance team of Guardian glass manufacturing plant in Dudelange. He then moved to the Real Estate Investment industry where he was a financial controller based in Luxembourg for The Carlyle Group looking after the European funds. The following 11 years, M. Lambrecht was based in Abu Dhabi working for the sovereign wealth fund ADIA. There he was in charge of the financial team supervising the widely diversified European real estate investment portfolio. Shortly after being back in Luxembourg, he set up Alternative Investment Services (AIS) together with Damien Rensonnet. They offer senior operational assistance to alternative investors’ financial teams. Also, they both serve as non-executive Directors on the board of different entities.

Alessia Lorenti is an Independent Non-Executive Director & Advisor, with 25 years’ experience in the Luxembourg financial services industry, focusing on investment funds, asset management and banking services to Non-Bank Financial Institutions.

Alessia currently serves as iNED on several Boards of Infrastructure and Private Equity funds and GPs and on the Advisory Boards of FinTech start-ups active in the investment funds industry.

Simon is an independent non-executive director and interim senior executive.

He has 25 years of experience in Luxembourg, spent for the vast majority in the field of services to Alternative Investment Funds (AIF).

Simon is a former partner at Grant Thornton Luxembourg.

Prior to that he has built and led, as managing director and board member, during more than 10 years, the Luxembourg entity of Ipes (now merged into Apex), a major Private Equity fund administration business. Ipes Luxembourg was a Professional of the Financial Sector, supervised by the CSSF, and went through various licensing processes. Simon was also a Member of the Group Operational Management Team of that private equity backed business.

Before this he worked as an independent consultant with a focus in the field of Real Estate investment funds, assisting Real Estate managers in setting-up operations in Luxembourg. He was also a member of a pricing committee on an open-ended fund of funds.

Simon started his career in audit with Arthur Andersen and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

He has gained 15+ years’ experience as a director on a number of Private Equity funds and corporate entities, including among others Fund of Funds, Buy-Out, Venture Capital funds, Debt/credit funds & Mezzanine.

He also participated to the set-up of various start-ups and joined the management of an industrial company for an interim period.

Simon has a Master in Commercial and Financial Sciences from HEC Liège.

He has been an active LPEA Member sitting on various committees from 2011 to 2019 and is from 2023 member of the LPEA iNED Club.

Simon has also a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD and is an ILA Certified Director.

Paul E. Cornet serves as a non-executive board member to alternative investment (Venture, Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Private Credit, and Venture/PE/Credit Secondaries) companies (AIF, AIFM, Holding Co., IFM, Manco, RAIF, SIF, SICAR, SPVs, Sec. Vehicle, UCI Part II).

Paul brings independent judgment to bear on issues of strategy, policy, resources, performance, regulatory matters and substance through a commitment to a responsive, constructive and consultative approach to corporate governance, a technical knowledge of investing and trading, experience in responsible investment (ESG), portfolio management and risk management, and an awareness of investor concerns.

With over three decades of capital markets experience in investment management, investment banking, family office, private equity and restructuring, Paul has advised both executives and the governing bodies of privately- and publicly-owned companies on valuation, capital raising, restructuring, asset allocation, direct investment and manager selection.

Paul obtained an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California. He holds both Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certifications. He serves on the Private Equity & Venture Capital and Debt Funds Special Committees of ALFI “Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry”, as a CAIA Chapter Executive and as a member of LPEA (Luxembourg Private Equity Association) and ILA (Luxembourgish Institute of Directors). Paul is bilingual in English and French. He is also a frequent speaker on matters covering AIFMD, responsible investment/ESG and democratization of private assets.
