Intertrust has produced a research report on ‘Disruptive Technology in Financial Services’, relating to the private equity and real estate industry.

There’s no question that technology is impacting every element of our lives, simplifying and providing alternative processes and enabling new sources of value to be identified. We surveyed over 500 professionals in the financial services sectors and our full report highlights how disruptive technology and digital innovations are impacting the industry.

The key highlights of the research within the private equity and real estate industry include:

• 82% of private equity professionals believe firms will appoint senior technology leaders to the board
• 91% of respondents believe that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will disrupt their sector within five years
• 56% of respondents say digital innovation is having the greatest impact on the efficiency of back office systems
