The LPEA Depositary committee has prepared a standard Asset Inventory form in order to standardise and streamline the overall process of the annual depositaries confirmations. The challenge in the illiquid market space is primarily driven by a manual process of establishing the annual asset verification of complex structures. This template should erase the overall process of portfolio confirmations and clarify the level of information needed for the reporting of alternative asset classes.
