The LPEA community continues to expand with more members joining the association as Affiliate Members, a category of membership reserved to private individuals. This membership category was created in 2019 with 10 members and represents 39 today.
In response to the increasing number of Affiliate Members and in order to remove any existing barriers to access the association, the LPEA Board decided to reduce and uniformise the Affiliate membership fee to €250. Corporate fees of the association remain unchanged.
As interest for Private Capital asset classes grows, practitioners of the sector have become more diverse and feel the need to intervene more actively through the voice of the trade association. Independent Directors, start-up founders and entrepreneurs or advisors, are just some of the profiles who have joined LPEA in the last three years.
Affiliate membership to LPEA allows individuals to access the association’s different working groups and clubs, join LPEA’s Academy and annual Insights Conference at a discounted rate and access many members’ exclusive events.
“We are reducing our rates and having a short term impact in our annual budget but we expect this change to make the sector stronger. We will have more professionals and different views in our technical committees and open the door to professionalise the sector further through our Academy”.
