The Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) will host the first Job Fair exclusively dedicated to Private Equity and Venture Capital jobs. The “Career Adventure Day” will take place online on March 23rd and will feature job vacancies from members of the association.
The Private Equity and Venture Capital sectors have been growing consistently for the past decade and more jobs are posted on a regular basis in Luxembourg. As of today, over 1.000 vacancies are advertised by multiple job platforms featuring opportunities in fields as diverse as investment management, legal advisory, investor relations, fund administration, etc.
The job fair welcomes candidates with and without professional experience (internships) and already based in Luxembourg or willing to move to Luxembourg. Registration is free of charge. A series of talks will also take place during the day to help candidates navigate the specificities of the sector.
“After seeing the growing number of job vacancies advertised by many of our members, we decided to create a platform to help them in finding new talents coming from other areas of the financial centre as well as from other European markets” stated Stephane Pesch, CEO of the LPEA.
This initiative follows the creation of a dedicated Human Resources Club in the LPEA to support members of the association to attract and recruit talents interested in private equity, venture capital, private debt and infrastructure investments. The LPEA also launched a dedicated academy to train professionals into the specificities of Private Equity in June 2020.
