Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Adviser in Corporate Finance (Deal Advisory)
Based in Luxembourg, this role will be working within our high performing and ambitious Deal Advisory (Corporate Finance & Strategy) team KPMG is considered the largest fully dedicated Corporate Finance team in Luxembourg, with over 40 professionals and more than 20 different nationalities.
As a Junior Adviser you would be working on a wide range of high-profile valuation, M&A and other corporate advisory projects, along with assisting with business development opportunities, ensuring these are carried out to our high-quality standards. You are expected to participate and with an execution team ranging from Adviser to Senior Managers to deliver successful projects, ensuring high quality deliverables and analysis, leading edge insights and adding value to our clients.
This role will involve exposure to prestigious clients in a broad array of sectors and geographies, leveraging our global Deal Advisory network.
What you will be working on
– Work with Seniors and Managers on a broad array of valuation, M&A and other corporate advisory projects. These are expected to be monitored, planned and discussed with Partners.
– Develop a detailed understanding of businesses and markets to successfully undertake detailed financial modelling, financial analysis and apply a variety of valuation methodologies.
– Prepare clear client reports, information memoranda and other deliverables.
– Assist in pitching to clients, including the preparation and presentation of proposals.
– Network, build and maintain relationships with clients and with our international network.
– You will experience different corporate cultures in a European financial center and international environment of project work.
– You will analyze complex business situations with the support of experienced colleagues.
– From the first day on you will be assigned to challenging tasks.
– We support a broad range of professional qualifications (CFA, CAIA, ACCA, CA, etc.).
What we look for
-You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Business or a related discipline.
-You have at done an internship in valuation, M&A or corporate finance related disciplines at an investment bank, Big 4 company, bank, fund or large corporate.
-You have strong technical and conceptual valuation skills.
-Strong written and oral communication skills, being able to synthetize complex analysis and procedures on a simple, structured and succinct conclusion.
-You demonstrate strong financial modeling and financial analysis skills.
-You display excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
-You are to multitask on several concurrent, time sensitive projects.
-You have a high level of attention to detail.
-You have strong leadership skills and a commitment to high performance.
-You are fluent in English and German or French, both written and spoken. Language skills are an advantage.
