About the Training
Valuation Modelling:Â build it, validate it, put AI to work on both
In the context of its Academy, LPEA is pleased to collaborate with LVPA and EVI to bring leading valuation specialists to its Private Capital community for two dedicated, high-quality and practice-oriented workshops, offering participants the opportunity to learn directly from recognised experts in the field.
A two-session workshop on constructing robust financial models, reviewing and validating them, and using AI at every step in between. Bring a laptop — you build the model yourself.
Why this workshop, why now?
Against this backdrop, LVPA is delighted to launch a dedicated Valuation Modelling Workshop focused on how to build robust financial models, how to review and validate them, and how AI is changing the way both are done.
Whether you’re on the front line building or reviewing models, or on the governance side validating and approving them, these sessions are designed for you. Open Excel on your laptop and, if you have one, get your AI assistant ready — this isn’t a sit-back-and-listen session. You’ll work through the modelling process yourself, guided at every step by experienced valuation and modelling professionals.
What the workshop covers?
- Best-practice model design
- Cell referencing for model optimisation
- Simple self-balancing error checks
- Techniques to prevent model errors
- Clear documentation of assumptions
- Linking and changing variables
- Building and using drop-down lists
- Creating financial statements
- Scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Using AI to build, document and stress-test a model
- Using AI to review models and spot errors
Session by session
Module 1: Regulatory context & building the model
19.11.2026 – 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Sets the regulatory backdrop and the key challenges facing valuation modelling today, then moves from talking about models to actually building one, live, with AI tools on hand.
Module 2: Validating & stress-testing the model
16.02.2026 – 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Turns to the review side: challenging and improving the model built in Part 1, and what AI-assisted modelling means for validation, approval and evidencing.
- Jiri Urban, Partner at European Valuation Institute
- Rado Chalupka, Director at European Valuation Institute
- Vusala Ahmadova, Managing Director at Reviva Capital – Valuation Governance Expert

About the Training
In the context of its Academy, LPEA is pleased to bring this training path to its Private Capital community through the Market Practice and Operations Committee’s Digital & Tech cluster — offering participants the opportunity to learn directly from practitioners shaping how crypto funds, tokenization and digital assets are structured in Luxembourg.
Delivered as a series of live webinars under the LPEA Academy banner, free of charge for all sessions.
Five live webinars charting Luxembourg’s digital-asset ecosystem — from how crypto funds are structured today, through tokenization and non-EU manager access, to the AIFMD/MiCA framework and tokenized fund structures on the horizon.
Why this training path?
Luxembourg’s fund ecosystem is adapting fast to crypto funds, tokenization and digital assets — and the Market Practice and Operations Committee’s Digital & Tech cluster has put together five sessions to track that shift as it happens, from the legal building blocks available today to the regulatory frameworks and structures still taking shape.
Each webinar stands on its own, so members can join the sessions most relevant to them, or follow the full path from crypto fund structuring through to tokenized feeders and wrappers.
Session by session
1. Structure and definition of crypto funds in Europe
- How is Luxembourg equipped for such funds?
- Legal and regulatory advantages / suitable types of funds
- How Luxembourg’s ecosystem supports crypto fund growth and investor confidence
2. Luxembourg funds and tokenization
- Tokenization advantages for fund distribution and fundraising
- How Luxembourg is positioning itself as a hub for digital-asset innovation
3. How can Luxembourg attract and support non-EU digital asset managers?
- Main challenges non-EU managers face entering Luxembourg’s digital-assets market
- Solutions and support services available to overcome setup, compliance and reporting hurdles
4. Overview of the regulatory framework under AIFMD and MiCA
- What regulatory clarity exists for Web3-native managers under AIFMD and MiCA?
- How do the AIFMD and MiCA frameworks apply to Web3 fund managers?
- What steps can Web3 managers take to ensure compliance and market entry?
5. Tokenized feeders and wrappers
- What are tokenized feeder vehicles and wrappers, and how do they work?
- How can they innovate capital deployment?
- How can these structures enhance investor access and flexibility?
Who should attend?
