We are pleased to invite you to take part in a study conducted by Mr Robert Stoll, a third-year doctoral student, as part of his thesis on the following question “How to facilitate the transfer of the very many family businesses that have no natural successor?

His work studies the human and financial aspects as well as the legal set-up of two mechanisms linked to each other, the “Owner’s Buy-Out” and the “Leveraged Management Buy-Out”. He intends to formalise the different facets, which are still very little researched in the academic world.

As for the very pragmatic world of business, he hopes to open up a new path for certain “Patriarchs” and their “Entrepreneurs”, when they find themselves confronted not only with the complexity of the problems, but also with the numerous opportunities of a succession outside the entrepreneurial family.

We would be very grateful if you could take a few minutes to answer his questionnaire.
