The Certificate, offered by HEC Liège Luxembourg in partnership with the Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA), consists of a dedicated Private Equity course, and a set of related classes. It facilitates a detailed discussion of the alternative asset universe targeting financial sector professionals in Luxembourg, or anyone looking to start a career in Private Equity and alternative asset classes. Professionals will actively participate in delivering all courses giving first-hand insight into their activity.
The Private Equity course covers different alternative asset classes, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Debt, as well as their strategies, actors, and structures. Topics include fundraising, typical transactions valuation, value creation, exit strategies and tax structuring, and will be followed by individual, in-depth lectures on different asset classes.
Participants will also be invited to take two to three classes of their choice from an extensive list of electives allowing them to explore other related areas. Such electives include Blockchain, Advanced Risk Management, Portfolio Management, Sustainable Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Management and Mergers & Acquisitions.
